2008 Grand Masters Announced

The Fourth Annual Grand Masters will feature two extraordinary engraving artists from Belgium: Alain Lovenberg and Philippe Grifnée.

Lovenberg and Grifnée will each present a 5-day engraving course revealing the exceptional techniques they have developed through decades of renowned and highly-valued work.

These two courses will be held on successive weeks with just 12 seats available per course. Attendees may apply for either program, or both.

The First Annual Grand Masters for Engravers

In August 2005, some of the finest engravers gathered in Emporia, Kansas for an extraordinary event: the First Annual GRS Grand Masters Program featuring Winston Churchill and Ron Smith.

This fulfilled a dream for many engravers and GRS. Since the creation of the GRS Training Center, GRS hoped to someday host a series of breakthrough programs led by some of the most renowned engravers in the world. It's now reality, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
