About Grand Masters
Dedicated to the Art of Engraving
What is it for?
GRS developed The Grand Masters Program to provide an annual event that would spark creative minds, aid in advancing the industry, and allow a fun, interactive atmosphere for engravers.
How does it work?
Limited to proficient engravers, all applicants must submit a current application and photographic examples of work.
Based on the quality and profiency of work submitted, twelve applicants are chosen anonymously by each of the current Grand Masters Program instructors.
Applications are confidential and are not disclosed to instructors prior to or during judging.
The upcoming year's instructors will be announced during the weekend events at the current Grand Masters Program.
Where is it held?
The Grand Masters Program is held annually in Emporia, Kansas, in the United States. The 5-day classes and most weekend events are hosted at the GRS Training Center.
How do I apply?
When the application becomes available, you may download it through this website. The application will need to be printed, filled out, and mailed along with photographic examples of work. For more information on this process, call GRS at 1-800-835-3519 to speak to a representative.
