2006
The Second Annual Grand Masters Program in August 2006 featured the talents and techniques of several world-renowned master engravers.
Many fine artists gathered in Emporia, Kansas to learn the special engraving techniques of Philippe Grifnée and Creative Art. Unifying such diverse masters in this inspirational event was truly a dream come true for GRS, as well as engravers around the world.
Grifnée and Creative Art each presented a 5-day engraving program focusing on the their own personal techniques and styles. Their work is extraordinarily rich and beautiful with style and grace resulting from generations of artistry born and refined in Belgium and Italy. These two 5-day courses were held on successive weeks for 12 people per course. Attendees could request a seat in either program or both.
